IGUAZU IN CONCERT- 2011 EDITION

                                                              
Iguazú in Concert is one of world´s most important child and youth orchestras festival. An exceptional scenario, the Iguazú Falls, 700 children and youths from the five continents and six days of pure music. Undoubtedly, a magic show. 

Iguazú en Concierto 2011 is held in the cities of Puerto Iguazú (Argentina) and Foz do Iguaçu (Brazil) during the week of May 23 through 28. During those six days the participating orchestras and choirs offer individual concerts at the best hotels of the area. On the last day, the festival closes with the 700 children playing together at the gardens of the Sheraton Hotel, with the unique setting of the Falls.

With the artistic direction of recognized professor Andrea Merenzon, the festival features pieces of the universal classic repertoire and national folklore songs of each participating country. The result is an attractive event with first-rate cultural and event with first-rate cultural and artistic content.

2010 Edition

The first edition of Iguazú en Concierto was a great success. Thousands of people from all over the world followed the festival. Many in person, marveling at each concert, and many others through the TV broadcast or the digital platforms that covered the event minute by minute.
Iguazú en Concierto 2010 went beyond the limits of Argentina and set the basis for a unique festival in the world that promises to continue growing year after year.
